Yearning for that touch
Just a brush
Infused with lust
In you I trust
To get me there
No matter how
No matter where
Now
Everything is on the table
I beg
Unlock my demons
Fill me up until I’m fed
I can take control of the boat
And be the captain instead
We can get there
Together
Just take my hand
As we uncover the land
Marked with beauty
And the exposed man

I self reflect
On the moments I felt the best
It’s the quite moments in my life
Sitting on a bench
As the time ticks by
I’m alone
But satisfied with my solitude
Few things that worry me
Head cured from the plague
That is my anxiety and existentialism
Just I
Alone
As the trees whisper to each other
And the wind plays with their hair
I look at the beauty of it all
Holding the wind in my nose
And releasing all the negativity
In a rhythmic pattern that soothes the soul
I feel in control
Like this moment will last
As long as I stay
Away from my problems
That await when I return

It hurts to think
That you will never see me
Other
Than a black thing
Have you ever had your coffee
Black
Or do you prefer it lightened
Would you have liked me
If
I was as white as the milk
You pour in your drink
Or as white and sweet
As the sugar you put in coffee
Your last cup was just milk
Maybe a hint of color
But I am just brown
Is that why
Cause I’m darker than her
Not sweet enough
Do you see me as something
That will stain your teeth
And your white shirt if I spill
That’s what I feel
You would never like
Me
Because I’m a
Black thing

It’s the pleasure
To know my company is necessary
Held to the staure of a king
Better yet a Queen
To whom I’m measured
To be wanted like I was the last cup
And this terrain was the desert
When I arrive
It’s like they would of died
Without me here
Screaming and cheering
That admiration
I always wanted
To be told I’m loved
Like a reiteration
That sensation
I have yet to grasp
Just something left to rot
In the tall burnt grass
